Hosted by the national charity for children and young people with autism, Ambitious about Autism, myVoice is a Department of Health funded project aimed at 16-25 year olds to volunteer at home or in their community to make their voices heard for young people with the condition. In February 2016, I was invited to speak, as a myVoice volunteer, at the Science Museum at an event by Kids in Museums to present my own experiences in how heritage can be more inclusive of young people with various needs, including autism.
