Hello there! As an activist and volunteer for almost ten years, I have finally gained the courage to make a difference in my own way and from a cause I have been passionate about since the start of all the opportunities I've been lucky to have had a role in. Being on the autistic spectrum myself, and having come through as an adult now, I believe we have the right to access all kind of community settings, whether that be museums, shops or a local bank. It does not cost much to make certain adjustments and much of the time it's just a case of learning to accommodate other people's needs through better training.

Museum of Minds represents something in being the first of a new kind of venture for me and to try and change the attitudes of how others might see my own condition.

My network of charities I am/have been involved in is extensive, including:
-
National Children's Bureau
-
Ambitious about Autism
-
vInspired
-
Mencap
-
Council for Disabled Children

It's time to make the community more accepting of autism and museums are just the start of that process!
