Website Launch

The official Museum of Minds campaign website is today officially launched. Designed as a space to help museums reach specialist help on becoming autism friendly, the site contains a series of resources and examples to help inspire them to start that process.

Its founder, Jack Welch, is keen to also have an accreditation and charter scheme in which museums sign themselves up to commit to making reforms and ultimately recieve recognition to promote to families and those in the auistic community that they are able to welcome us.

On the website launch, Jack said "It's been quite an effort to make this site a reality. I have never personally designed a website from scratch before and populating it with content - I did try to put it off for a while, but I'm very hopeful it's all worth it and museums will engage with the campaign."

Over the coming months, case studies of museums this campaign is working with and podcast interviews with key stakeholders will be featured on the website, so come back to visit and see all the latest developments here and on the blog.

A special thanks also to Scope and Ambitious about Autism for their support in this process.
